Boiler water

Efficient and safe operation of heating devices depends on the quality of both the water supplying the boilers and the water circulating in cooperating heating circuits. The quality of the circulating water and boiler feed water directly depends on the quality of the additional water used to make up for losses in these installations.

The use of tap water as a feed resource for steam boilers causes precipitation and scaling in the installation (boiler), which in turn results in energy losses and increases the consumption of chemicals needed to clean the boiler. Thanks to the use of water softening systems, the formed calcium deposit is reduced, and the bicarbonates contained in the raw water pass through the softening station to the boiler without any obstacles, decomposing into carbon dioxide (CO2) and sodium hydroxide (NaOH) and creating a corrosive condensate. This situation results in the appearance of an increased amount of blowdown and blowdown. In order to eliminate this problem it is necessary to use a reverse osmosis system.
