Water electrodeionization
In this process, water demineralization involves the simultaneous use of electricity, resins and ion-exchanging membranes. EDI is typically employed for final treatment of water after the reverse osmosis process, where the technological process requires the use of water with very low conductivity (below 0.1 μS/cm).
