Boiler water treatment plant

The task was to expand the existing boiler water treatment plant from 20 m3/h to 30 m3/h. For this purpose, the deep water was first aerated, and then by -reducing iron and manganese with the use of two automatic pressure filters with a diameter of 1200 mm - was moved to the reverse osmosis system. Antiscalant is dosed into the system upstream of RO. Downstream of demineralization to the value of 8 μS/cm water is conveyed to the storage tank. The next stage, before water is supplied to the steam boiler system, automatic water hardness testing is carried out and, if necessary, emergency water softening in columns filled with strongly acidic cation exchangers.
