Anti-scalants

Anti-scalants

In order to protect membranes in RO systems, it is necessary to soften water in the process of ion exchange and to apply anti-scalant. Anti-scalants are chemical agents created for the purpose of protecting osmotic membranes against sediments that clog them. These agents stop salt crystallization, not allowing scale to form. Antiscalants protect reverse osmosis membranes against the consequences of the polarization effect, without allowing them to become obstructed, thereby extending the lifetime of the filtration station. In the case of water with very high alkalinity, pH correction with the use of acids is recommended
