What is water treatment in industry for?

 

An industrial process requires large quantities of water. Due to the quality restrictions concerning process water, it must be properly treated. The main indicators that must absolutely be monitored are, among others, pH scale, hardness, bacterial and chemical content. Requirements differ depending on the specific industry, process, or the enterprises themselves.

 

This is because the applications of water in industry are very diverse. It is most commonly used in technological and production process as a raw material, diluent, cooling agent or washing agent.
