Flotation
Flotation is one of the methods of sewage pretreatment, particularly effective in the separation of suspended solids, fats and oily substances. Watersystem offers devices of its own production - flotation machines - which enable the flotation process to be carried out in optimal conditions. Raw mixed sewage is properly dosed with chemicals in the pre-mixing system. Dissolving the air, i.e. creating a saturation mixture, takes place in a saturator that is part of the device.
DAF Flotation (Dissolved Air Flotation)
DAF flotation (Dissolved Air Flotation) consists in introducing nano-air bubbles with a small diameter of about 40-50 micrometers into the liquid. These bubbles stick to the solid particles in the water and float with them to the surface of the liquid. They form a sheepskin coat that is collected from the surface of the liquid in a separate technological process.
The DAF process is an extremely effective method of treating industrial wastewater from insoluble pollutants. The efficiency of such a system allows to reduce the values of pollutants from industrial wastewater by up to 95% in the case of total suspended solids and by 50-65% in the case of COD and BOD5 *.
- Watersystem offers the possibility of testing DAF microFLOT systems
The pressure flotation offered by Watersystem can be used for the treatment of industrial wastewater
- food (meat, fish, dairy, fruit and vegetable plants),
- textile and textile (finishing plants, laundries, dye houses)
- chemical and many others.
