Ring presses

The Volute ring press is a compact device for dewatering sewage sludge, both municipal and industrial. The press allows for fully maintenance-free operation, no supervision by the sewage treatment plant.

Due to the high costs associated with sludge management in wastewater treatment plants, the Volute press is a competitive solution in relation to belt presses, centrifuges or screw presses due to:

•     low electricity consumption in the dewatering process
•     water consumption for rinsing the press is several hundred times lower than for belt presses
•     the built-up area is in many cases even 70% smaller than for traditional devices
•     required press service time (5 minutes / day), continuous operation possible 24 h / day without service breaks
